He looked over the rock. Now he could see his foe. They wore black trench coats with gray accents. Covering the torso were dark pewter breastplates, similar armor covered their shoulders. Their helmets reminded Josh of the helmets worn by Spartans. The only thing that was missing was the massive red plume. The visor on the helmets appeared to glow orange. Josh could see a disadvantage in their armor design. Their dependence on cloaking meant they had little knack for camouflage. Their black and gray uniforms shown clearly against the desert landscape.
“Easy pickens,” Jones said.
“Fish in a barrel,” Josh replied. Jones smirked at Josh.
“Bravo, displace! Covering fire!” Josh yelled.

Josh moved the mouthpiece back up. “Move ahead to the mouth of the valley,” he ordered. Bravo Company began jogging and soon came upon downward slope. When Josh saw the fires begin to thin out he ran behind a rock big enough to cover ten marines sticking out of the ground. When he looked around the corner he saw a group of Usoniean Troops running towards them with two tanks following. When they saw the fires they stopped and looked around. Josh could see that one of the soldiers had a red stripe running down his entire uniform. The man that seemed much taller than the others made some hand signals he had never seen before. Six of the ten soldiers fanned out and hid behind cover. The striped one and the others just stood as the tank moved in front of them.
